Can I install my irrigation system myself?

Yes – implement plan, downlowad instructions, use Blog.

Yes, you can. Your plan from the DVS Irrigation Planner already shows you where the pipes, valve box and the sprinklers will be located. You dig the trenches approx. 25–30 cm deep (one spade), lay the PE pipe, install the valve box and the sprinklers.

In the last step of the planner, you can also download installation instructions that guide you step by step. You can find further practical tips in the blog article on installing your irrigation system.

Important: Only use Teflon tape where thread meets thread, not on conical sprinkler housings.

If you wish, you can request a  professional check before installation – we will then tell you whether the sprinklers are positioned correctly or whether you should move them.

In short: Follow planning, download instructions, read Blog – then you can carry out installation yourself.
