# How do I plan my irrigation system with the DVS Irrigation Planner?

## Plan in 5 steps – select sprinkler type first.

The DVS Irrigation Planner always leads you through **5 steps:** 

1. **Draw in the areas lawn, beds, paths).**
2. **Place the system elements (water connection, valve box, water socket).**
3. **Calculate sprinklers automatically or set them yourself.**
4. **Calculate pipes automatically or lay them yourself.**
5. **Check the material list and adjust it yourself if necessary.**

 Important: You chose the  **sprinkler type (MP Rotator / Hunter or gear sprinkler / Rain Bird)** at the beginning, before you start drawing. 

Once you have finished you can send us you plan – we perform a **professional check** and let you know whether sprinklers sprinkler cover exactly the same area, whether an area does not get covered at all or whether pipes could be laid more appropriately. Afterwards you can change the material list yourself. 

**In short**: Follow 5 steps, chose sprinkler type at the beginning and have plan checked on request.
