Which PE pipe should I use (24 mm Blu-Lock, 25 mm, 32 mm)?
25 mm to approx. 1.8 m³/h or 100 m, then 32 mm.
In most gardens, 25 mm PE pipe is sufficient. You can use this if your system requires less than approx. 1.8 m³/h at any one time or if the pipe is no longer than approx. 100 m.
If you want to transport more water at the same time or have longer distances to cover, use 32 mm so that the pressure does not drop as much.
24 mm Blu-Lock is the quick version with plug fittings – you can use this instead of 25 mm, but you must then use the appropriate Blu-Lock fittings. Furthermore, Blu-Lock must never be used in the permanent pressure section.
In short: 25 mm = standard, 32 mm = lots of water/long distances, Blu-Lock = quick, but separate system.
